More World-Class Wines Introduced for Passover

New York…For those who believed that last year’s exciting new line of kosher for Passover wines and liqueurs could not be beat, there is even more excitement this year. The list includes
Herzog Single Vineyard “Mt Veeder” Cabernet Sauvignon, Binyamina “Bin” Merlot, Binyamina Reserve Carignan, Weinstock Cellar Select Petite Sirah, Bartenura Moscato Sparkling, Alfasi late harvest Sauvignon Blanc, Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon, Pacifica Pinot Noir, Carmel Kayoumi White Riesling, Shiloh “Legend”, Flam rose’, Chateau Thenac Fleur du Perigord and Ovadia Estates Rosso di Montepulciano. Drom Distillery No. 209 comes Kosher-for-Passover Vodka (40% ABV), a limited-production artisanal vodka carrying the kosher seal of approval. The new spirit, meticulously handcrafted by master distiller Arne Hillesland. They previewed their vodka at the Kosher Food & Wine Experience in New York City on February 13, and it will be available in stores at a suggested retail price of $29.99 beginning March 2012, just in time for Passover. No. 209 Kosher-for-Passover Vodka represents the boutique San Francisco-based distillery’s foray into the vodka category, and its second kosher-for-Passover product following the successful 2010 launch of its No. 209 Kosher-for-Passover Gin – the world’s only certified kosher-for-Passover gin. Hand-fashioned in small batches under the supervision of rabbis from the Orthodox Union, No. 209 Kosher-for-Passover Vodka is made from one hundred percent sugarcane and pure snowmelt from the Sierra Nevada Mountains to produce a quality artisanal spirit that is strictly kosher.
