New Product Competition Moves to Show on November 8; More Innovation and Change at Show

Secaucus, NJ…This year’s New Product Competition was moved to the show venue, allowing many companies who were preoccupied with the just concluded holidays to still participate. Previously, the competition was held several weeks before the show but because of the calendar and the proximity of the Jewish holidays, the competition was shifted to the show itself. The competition will now take place on Tuesday, November 8th, the first day of Kosherfest. It will be a closed-door judging session as it always has been. Doing the competition at the show allows show management to add more buyers and industry experts to the judging panel and increase the amount of feedback winners will receive on their product. The deadline for submission was moved to Friday, November 4th.

The competition this year will be hosted by Apron Masters Kitchen, a family-oriented cooking school located in Woodmere, NY. Owners Roee Mordechai and Sharona Furman said they were “thrilled to be hosting this major event for the kosher food industry.

In other major changes at the 2022 show (November 8-9), a new networking opportunity will take place on November 8th with a Happy Hour with a selection of kosher cocktails. The number of major VIP buyers invited to the show was significantly increased and a select group of leading kosher food executives from around the nation participated in a special tour and program.
