It was amazing to see just how many people tuned into the live stream and videos of Kosherfest. Whether it was through the Kosherfest site, Elan Kornblum’s feed or the many other coverages including on-line news sites, Kosherfest was followed by thousands of people. It has definitely emerged as the signature brand for the kosher food industry. The big question for most was “What’s New” and, of course, this year there were plenty.
It was no wonder that a manager of a large kosher independent supermarket told me the following: “I have many inquiries from people about products that were at Kosherfest.” The interesting fact is that while Kosherfest is designed for the trade, the consuming public is every bit as interested as to what transpires there.
