Plethora of New Kosher Wines for Passover 2019

New York…by Eda Kram, New Products Showcase Editor…Although new kosher wines are released throughout the year, the main season for the launches is Passover and this year a record number of new wines are being released. The Royal Wine Corporation, which has been in the forefront of winemaking and importing wines for more than six decades from some of the best winemaking regions in the world, leads with many new wines. New Rosés for 2019 are from the following wineries, Gush Etzion and Flam. Royal Wine also introduces Herzog Lineage Rosé from Clarksburg, CA. Some other new wines are Carmel Limited Edition 2014, Domaines Rollan de By, owned by Jean Guyon. The extravagant designer just released the first-ever new kosher run from his estates: Chateau de By Medoc 2016. Lineage Choreograph, a field blend of more than a dozen different grapes comes from an experimental plot on the Herzog estate vineyard. Herzog Wine Cellars also recently released Herzog Special Reserve Quartet 2015, Seta Chianti Classico Riserva an Chateau Guiraud, Petit Guiraud 2017, and Herzog Late harvest Orange Muscat. New Kosher for Passover Spirits: Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Anejo, Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Reposado, Zachlawi Dry Arak, Elite Arak and Alouf Arak and Godet Fine de Cognac.
