Will Kosher Restaurants Close in COVID-19 Aftermath

Brooklyn, NY…The Wolf & Lamb Steakhouse on Coney Island Avenue will not reopen once commerce opens once again. According to Elan Kornblum, the expert on kosher restaurants, the restaurant’s Manhattan location is slated to reopen. Many kosher food experts expect numerous kosher restaurant closings as a result of the changed economic climate as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many kosher restaurants were converted into catering and takeout centers while others made do with loans from the Small Business Administration (SBA). The prospect of closures is not reserved for the New York area as several restaurants in other large cities like Miami and Chicago are also contemplating their futures.
