Secaucus NJ - The contestants in Kosherfest’s first ever Jamie Geller's Kosher Masters Competition come from diverse backgrounds, a symbol of the widening impact of kosher cuisine. They include Avi Katz, 19, from Memphis and currently a third-year student in a Yeshiva in Israel, Chavah De Gandarias from Ontario, an Information Technology and Digital Marketing consultant and Marc Ward from Baltimore, a husband, father, and lawyer.The finals are a culmination of a two month national cooking competition run by Jamie Geller’s JOY of KOSHER where aspiring chefs creatively came up with a dish and submitted a video for a chance to win the national Kosher Master title. The three finalists will compete live on November 16th at Kosherfest in a chopped style competition.
