Postponed Kosherfest to Take Place November 9-10, 2021

Portland ME…Like most other trade shows throughout the globe, Kosherfest 2020 is not taking place this year due to the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. In an announcement by the co-producers of Kosherfest, Diversified Business Communications and Lubicom Business Consulting, a new date was set for the show in 2021. The next Kosherfest will take place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus NJ, November 9 -10, 2021. Despite being more than a year away, there has been unprecedented interest in the future dates of the international kosher food trade show. In a survey of several thousand exhibitors and visitors to Kosherfest, most preferred keeping the November dates rather than move the show to an earlier month.

Organizers of the show were planning many new features at the next show including larger booths, wider aisles and more opportunities for trade visitors to confer. In addition, the organizers are expected to shortly announce dates in 2020 for the New Product Competition and other virtual presentations and events. At almost the same time of the Kosherfest announcement the Specialty Food Association announced that its winter show scheduled for January 17-19, 2021 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco has been cancelled. In a statement, the organizers said: “In addition to the current closure of the Moscone Center for scheduled events, this cancellation is being driven by the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing travel restrictions and general safety for all participants.”
