Norman’s Adds Apple & Honey to Greek Yogurt

RUTHERFORD, NJ — Norman’s Dairy is releasing a new product that is timely and tasty. Its newest flavor for its highly successful Greek Yogurt line is none other than Apple & Honey with the Hebrew greeting Shana Tova across the front of the label. Norman’s became the first Cholov Yisrael dairy producer to market Greek Yogurt that was developed and produced in small batches in its own Rutherford NJ plant. 

A major source of protein, the Greek Yogurt has become a bestseller overnight with its flavor variety and taste pleasing cholov yisroel consumers who have never tasted the product before.  Most people need no introduction to the Greek Yogurt craze rapidly sweeping the nation. The thick, creamy treat has taken the country by storm, dominating everything from Super Bowl ads to the 2012 Summer Olympics. 

As more and more people start buying Greek Yogurt, the plethora of companies offering it has grown by leaps and bounds. U.S. sales of Greek yogurt have more than doubled in the past five years to $1.6 billion, according to Euromonitor International. Last year, Greek yogurt accounted for about 21 percent of yogurt sales.
