New On-Line Jewish Travel Site To Focus on Kosher Traveler

NEW YORK — A popular on-line Jewish travel website is launching Jewish.Travel, an on-line magazine, with a plethora of information for the kosher traveler. (TJT) was established in 1999 and quickly became the leading portal for Jewish and Kosher travel worldwide. Maintaining an updated and informative directory as the Jewish travel scene grew, TJT's website is now the premier source for Jewish and kosher consumers planning vacations anywhere in the world. In addition to the expected restaurant and “zmanim” list, visitors to the site can find information on cruises, Passover hotels, exotic vacations, and even international bar/bat mitzvahs and weddings.

Fourteen years after its inception, TJT's website is now poised to launch Jewish.Travel, a new online travel magazine. According to Raphi Bloom, TJT’s Sales and Marketing Director, the e-mag will initially appear every two months and will be available to TJT’s 14,000 subscribers, and as an e-supplement to many digital Anglo-Jewish publications.

Award winning journalist Buzzy (Betzalel) Gordan has been named editor of Jewish.Travel. "Buzzy is a highly respected travel writer who has covered the world of international and Jewish travel for more than 35 years," said Bloom. "He is the author of Frommer's Jerusalem Day by Day, and his work has appeared in USA Today, National Geographic Traveler, The Los Angeles Times, The Jerusalem Post and many more publications."
