New Exhibitors at Kosherfest Represent Cross Section of Kosher Foods

SECAUCUS, NJ -- When Kosherfest opens on November 13th at the Meadowlands Exposition Center, it will include at least 30 companies that are exhibiting for the first time. While many of the show’s existing 250 companies will be exhibiting hundreds of new products, the first timers include manufacturers of dietary supplements, protein bars, juices, and mushrooms to name but a few.

Founded in 1991 and located in Sugar Land, Texas, Bluebonnet Nutrition provides a full line of (Kof-K) innovative, high-quality dietary supplements offered exclusively to natural food retailers throughout the U.S.

Founded in 1935, Lakewood Organic Juices produces a diverse line of pure organic and premium fruit juice products using the finest ingredients. What makes their juices different? Says the company: “Our juices are a delicious natural source of anti-oxidants, phytochemical nutrients, dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals. Lakewood takes pride in producing a line of fresh-pressed 100% pure organic and premium juices, with no additives or artificial ingredients of any kind.

Also amongst the first-timers will be The Mushroom Company, founded in 1931, which produces a variety of kosher mushroom products. They will be promoting standardized cut and packed items, customized mushroom products, private label solutions or even processing and co-packing of other food items. Their 75-year history is replete with satisfied customers, and customer satisfaction remains the primary focus of the people at The Mushroom Company.

Kosherfest has a long list of satisfied first-timers who made significant inroads into the kosher market as a result of exhibiting in the show. One of those first-timers last year was The Simply Bar. Rachel Golian, USA Brand Representative for the company, says: “The Simple Bar received a lot of interest and great feedback since attending Kosherfest last year and they felt that it was important for them to return this year.” Being that most protein bars are dairy, The Simply Bar is one of the few exceptions as it is vegan and parve; the perfect snack for in between meals, especially for those that wait 6 hours between meat and dairy.
