Momentum Grows for a “Normal” Kosherfest, November 9-10

Secaucus, NJ…With the relaxation of most Covid-19 protocols by New Jersey, interest is growing daily by the kosher food trade in a robust Kosherfest on November 9-10 at the Meadowlands Convention Center. It is expected that there will be no special restrictions in place leading to what is being termed a “normal” Kosherfest. Interest from overseas is also growing by the day as some international exhibitors and buyers are indicating that they are resuming international travel. Many in the industry say that interest is particularly high because of the post pandemic desire to resume some semblance of normalcy. “It has been two years and even with the pandemic there have been many new developments in the industry,” said one regular attendee. Like many others, he is looking to meet and greet people from the industry. The industry is celebrating its survival during the difficult pandemic period but at the same time planning for a recovery and further expansion in the coming year. Israel, which was virtually shut down for well over a year, is expected to allow travel to the US, prompting many regular Kosherfest visitors to suggest that they will be attending the show.
