Los Angeles – When the 2015 baseball season got underway, fans in cities like New York, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, San Diego, Washington, Kansas City, San Francisco, Milwaukee, and Seattle could go to a game and enjoy kosher food, but not in Los Angeles. Kosher Today ran a story in the spring that included complaints from LA fans about the lack of kosher food at Dodger Stadium. Second only to New York, Los Angeles is estimated to have more than 600,000 Jews. Last week, Dodger Stadium opened its first kosher hot dog stand. Jeff’s Gourmet Sausage Factory opened for the season’s remaining home games serving up three versions of its titular tube steak: regular and jalapeno, and sweet Italian sausage.
