Lipton Kosher Is Stepping Up Its Game

Englewood NJ - Whether you call them matzo balls or kneidels, those white delicious balls found in any Jewish chicken soup are a home cooked tradition passed down through the generations. Therefore, matzo ball mix has become a staple in Jewish homes around the world, kosher or not, as no Shabbat dinner or Jewish holiday meal is complete without them. Unilever USA recognized that the matzo ball is a Jewish home fundamental and began importing Lipton Kosher products from Israel, matzo ball mixes and consommés, as well as soup and dip mixes. Recently efforts have been made to step up the game, increasing sales and distribution, and ensuring that Lipton Kosher products are found in every Jewish household, both in Orthodox and non-Orthodox. Products can be found in independent kosher supermarkets around the country, as well as in the regular supermarket chains such as Shoprite, Stop & Shop, and Publix. Distributed by Kayco, it is Lipton Kosher’s Onion Dip Mix that has been voted the all-out favorite of the brands offerings, but their matzo ball products are definitely gaining speed.

The beauty is in their versatility. Lipton Kosher’s Soup and Dip Mixes can be used in soups, poultry and meat dishes, or as dairy dips. Many of their consommés and matzo ball mixes are also kosher for Passover, meaning they can be used 365 days a year. They are certified under the OU, with some products labeled pareve and others as meat.
