Kosherfest Exhibitors Hail New Tougher Admission Policy, Success of Show

Secaucus, NJ - “It was a very serious show with many quality buyers.” “The best yet as I wrote actual orders.” “The new strict admission policy was a major improvement.” These were some of the comments of exhibitors in the aftermath of the 29th edition of Kosherfest, the international kosher food show that took place last month at the Meadowlands Exposition Center. The exhibitors were largely reacting to a new admission policy at the show that required visitors to prove they were involved in the food industry along with an ID. There were also many accolades for the program, highlighted by the keynote address of Yarden Horwitz, a trendspotting expert at Google. Speaking to an overflow breakfast crowd, she revealed many interesting trends in kosher that are of great benefit to industry planners.
