Kosher Company Says it Continues to Produce Quality Products Despite Seizure

QUEENS, NY — A kosher manufacturer of a host of products that was accused of producing the products in a plant infested with rodents would not comment on the accusations because of the ongoing investigation but did say that the plant was not shut down and that it was still producing the “highest quality Kojel products,” that “our customers have come to expect.” The company told KosherToday that there was no interruption in production. The feds seized more than $1 million worth of food from V.I.P. Foods. Agents from the US Food and Drug Administration raided VIP Foods and say that they had found evidence of rodents.
