Fairway Uses Thanksgiving to Expand into Kosher Catering

NEW YORKFairway is taking its extensive kosher program to the next level when it offers its first glatt kosher menu in three of its stores in time for Thanksgiving. The stores in Stamford CT, Westbury NY, and Paramus NJ will offer oven ready Empire kosher turkey, slow roasted beef brisket, butternut squash bisque, apple cranberry challah stuffing, candied sweet potatoes, roasted seasonal vegetables, wild rice, apple, pumpkin and pecan pie, seasonal fruit platter and chocolate cake. 

In addition there is an antipasti platter, hummus, eggplant and tomato salad and a selection of crudites. All foods are kosher made fresh in Fairway's kosher kitchens under the supervision of the Kof-K and Rabbi Avraham Marmostein (*Certified kosher when sealed with kosher tape). Many supermarkets throughout the country offer special Thanksgiving programs, including specials on kosher turkey and other dishes that are customarily used on the holiday.
