EZ Kosher Only a Click from Customer’s Favorite Supermarket

Brooklyn, NY - On-line kosher shopping has never quite caught on, say the experts, primarily because kosher consumers are still not fully comfortable with the idea. A group of Brooklyn-based Jewish entrepreneurs is hoping to change the model and hence the on-line shopping experience. They decided the time had come to service the needs of thousands of kosher consumers who may have moved far from their favorite kosher supermarket, spend their summers in the country, or just enjoy looking at actual images of each product before purchasing online – and so, EZKosher.com was born. EZKosher.com enables shoppers to select which store they’d like to place their order with, browse actual store inventory, and choose a delivery slot that works for them. First time consumers are asked to provide their ZIP code and are then presented with a choice of stores servicing their area. Once they choose the specific store, each product is categorized by brand, size and availability, presenting shoppers with beautiful images photographed by the EZKosher staff themselves. Consumers can also create their own shopping lists that are saved under their EZKosher.com account for future orders.

“Each store has their own domain, so that once a shopper chooses a specific store their specific mini-site comes up. It’s the perfect alternative for kosher food stores who want to reach consumers online without having to organize and manage, and pay bucket loads for their own e-commerce site,” said EZKosher.com CEO, Ari Koplommwitz. “What’s more we provide the ultimate personal shopping experience as shoppers deal directly with our in-house customer service team, relieving the stores of the added hassle and ensuring customers’ needs are catered to in an efficient manner.” EZKosher is also unique in that they offer delivery to consumers who live outside of the particular stores delivery areas. Currently their stores generally just service Brooklyn, but EZKosher has their own delivery team who service Manhattan, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester and parts of New Jersey for a low flat fee and next day delivery. Koplommwitz told Kosher Today, “we are hoping to expand the number of stores using EZKosher in the New York area and then we would love to expand to the rest of the US as well.”
