Buns go gluten-free

by Edna Kram, New Product Content Editor

DENVER --  Just in time for barbeque season the Denver-based Udi's Gluten Free Foods has introduced gluten-free hot dog and hamburger buns. Burger buns (in classic white or whole grain) work well with sloppy joes, especially with a slight toast. Without gluten's stretchiness, though, hot dog buns come in classic white only. Loaded with 6 grams of fiber, these buns come fully equipped with the right nutrients to accompany a savory sandwich or classic burger. Hamburger buns are $4.29; hot dog buns, $4.69. Kosher certified under The Scroll K/ Vaad Hakashrus of Denver. For more information visit: www.udisglutenfree.com
