Brooklyn Eats Expands to Kosher Manufacturers
BROOKLYN, NY — The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is a sponsor of a successful program called Brooklyn Eats. Last week, it sponsored a special program on promoting kosher in the borough, one of the largest markets for kosher outside of Brooklyn. Jesse Blonder, Managing Director of The Center for Kosher Culinary Arts, the only kosher cooking school in the US, moderated a panel that included Menachem Lubinsky, founder and co-producer of Kosherfest, Rabbi Dovid Jenkins of the Orthodox Union and Jacob Russanov from KeHE distributors. The attendees were largely small food producers in Brooklyn.
