AKO Foodservice Mashgiach Training Course Spreads Over Four Continents

Chicago IL…Nearly 1,000 mashgichim (kosher supervisors) throughout the world have participated in the AKO (Association of Kashrus Organizations) Foodservice Mashgiach Training Course. Considered one of the most popular programs offered by AKO, kosher certification agencies around the world have availed themselves of this service to train and certify their mashgichim, according to Rabbi Sholem Fishbane, AKO’s Executive Director.  AKO officials say that the feedback from the mashgichim has been “phenomenal.” Rabbi Nosson Dubin from Houston designed and continues to lead this popular training course ([email protected]). Participating US agencies include many national, regional and local kashrus agencies. Overseas agencies include the Beth Din of South Africa, the Kashrut Authority of Australia and New Zealand, KLBD (London), Kosher Australia, Montreal Kosher, and the Ottawa Vaad Hakashrut.
