A Fantasy Football Day Planned for Kosher Fans

Ft. Lauderdale…Mike Marcus has a dream. He is planning to offer football fans that eat kosher a day they will not forget. If all goes according to plan, he is planning a Fantasy Football Day at the new Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford NJ on December 4th. To fulfill his dream, Mike has teamed up with Alan “Shlomo” Veingard, the former offensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys who helped lead the team to a Super Bowl victory in 1992 before retiring. Veingrad also played for the Green Bay Packers for 5 years.  Allan, or Shlomo as he is now called, became an Orthodox Jew  and is now a motivational speaker, traveling all over the nation speaking to various yeshivas and other religious groups. Mike too had discovered Orthodox Judaism later in life and was now seeking to integrate his passion for football with his love for authentic Judaism.  Included in the Fantasy Day will be visits with NFL players, a Tailgate Party catered by Main Event and then, of course, watching the Giants from the coveted Mezzanine Club. Also involved in this venture that Mike and Alan call the The Kosher Sports Experience is John Frank whose five -year (1984–1988) pro career was spent with the San Francisco 49ers as a Tight End, which he helped lead to victory in Super Bowl XIX and Super Bowl XXIII.
