Secaucus NJ…There is good reason to participate in the annual New Kosher Product Competition, several retailers told Kosher Today. Many of the winners in 2021 and 2019 achieved higher sales of as much as 20% the retailers say. The annual New Product Competition will this year be hosted by Apron Masters ( www.apronmasters.com) Kitchen, a family-oriented cooking school located in Woodmere, NY. Owners Roee Mordechai and Sharona Furman said they were “thrilled to be hosting this major event for the kosher food industry. The prestigious New Product Competition is judged by a panel of kosher industry experts, buyers, and chefs. Products are judged on quality, packaging, pricing, and marketability. To be eligible, products must have been introduced from January 2021 through Kosherfest 2022.
Some of the winners in 2021 included Anderson International Foods, Fiber Gourmet, Setton. Xold Pressok, Flaum’s Appetizing, Prime Kosher Brands, Freund's Fish, Borna Foods, Elegant Desserts, Morre-Tec Industries, Ben's Best and M&H Distillery. 2019 winners included Allie’s Vegan Bagels, Gina’s Gourmet Pantry All-Natural Fruit Spreads, Exotic Sauce Packaging, Alle Processing/Meal Mart, Meatless Nation LLC and 5 Stones Virtuous
