Indianapolis…Baseball, football, basketball and hockey arenas as well as the US Open all offer kosher food nowadays. For the first time there was kosher food served at the Indy 500! KosherstandZ, certified by the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc), served kosher food at three different locations at last week’s Indianapolis 500. Fans enjoyed their famous kosher hot dogs, polish sausages, drinks and more. Kosher food in the nation’s sports arenas is no longer an anomaly. A growing number of young Orthodox Jews are sports fans and many use the arenas for social gatherings.
