Going Out for Dinner or a Backyard Barbecue?

New York…Reuben has always made sure to dine out at least once a week with his wife, son and two daughters. But these days the tab has gone up so much he is slowly transitioning into a barbecue dad, officiating on his Weber grill instead at least one night a week. According to several kosher supermarkets they too are witnessing a spike in the sale of products used to barbecue. Seth Leavitt of Abeles & Heymann has seen a significant surge in the sale of his highly regarded hot dogs.
