Fresh Direct Continues to Expand Kosher Offerings

New York…Alvin, a 34-year old actuary who lives in Manhattan, uses Fresh Direct as his primary source of kosher foods. His busy lifestyle, leaving little time for shopping, makes his on-line ordering the most convenient way to stock his pantry and refrigerator. Fresh Direct has been steadily increasing its kosher offerings and according to the Daily News, the delivery grocery will spend $112 million to build a new base in the Bronx, keeping nearly 2,000 jobs in the Empire State and adding about 1,000 more. This bodes well for people like Alvin who rely on Fresh Direct as their kosher supermarket of choice.
