Tel Aviv… by Idele Ross…Researchers found the ceramic stamp dating back to the sixth century BCE during exactions at Horbat Uza. The Israel Antiquities Authority is digging in the area, prior to the construction of the Acco-Carmiel railroad track. The seal belongs to a group of stamps referred to as bread stamps. Archeologists say the discovery proves the presence of a Jewish community in the area during the Byzantine era.
